Our relatives from the US will be here in a few days, so we are really busy gettin' the house all cleaned up. On Saturday night, Esther, Mom and I went to Michelle's bridal shower. Ben did get one job at Starbucks. He was hired on the spot. So he made one cup of coffee, and then he got fired. Then the other night they all went camping. Ben brought his brand new barbecue, and my crazy cousin Richard brought his potato canon. So Richard and my brother Tim were firing potatoes strait up into the air, and one of them landed on the new barbecue, giving it a brand new dent and taking some of the paint off.
Anyway, all this happened while we girls were at Michelle's bridal shower. Instead of doin' all that crazy stuff the boys did, we ate cookies, and Michelle opened presents. That's about all.

| The mystery of Mystery is solved. We found the second hole. But, it wasn't only a second hole we found, but two second holes, which, of course, makes a second and a third
hole. Three holes in our roof! My dad found the second and
third hole by crawling through the attic attic. I never thought
he'd actually crawl all the way to the other side of the house!
It's only big enough that you just can't quite crawl
on your hands and knees, so you have to crawl on your belly through
three inches of dust, lots of insulation, and you have to make sure to
try to stay on the beams or else you fall through the floor into either
me and Esther's room, the hallway, Joey's room, the bathroom, the other
bathroom, mom and dad's room, or even the sewing room. Oh, and
there's tons of spider
skeletons hanging down from the ceiling, so when you crawl through the
attic attic you have to brush the skeletons away with every step.
So, crawling through the attic attic isn't really one of the biggest
dreams you have of doing. But Dad did it. Mystery was in
the attic attic at the time, so Dad followed him to the end of the
attic attic, and saw Mystery run out through a hole in the roof.
It was actually a hole in the vent. And then Dad discovered a
third hole in another vent that the squirrel had made. So Dad
went out and got some stuff to cover the holes, and he covered them
when Mystery was out of the attic attic, so we never had to catch him
again. And now, for the last few weeks, we haven't heard Mystery
building his house the our attic attic, so hopefully the mystery of
Mystery is completely solved.
The sun was out, it was getting warm, the neighborhood kids were
playing outside all day, people were putting away their winter coats
and sleds, and Summer was just around the corner! I was so
excited! Until yesterday. It snowed. Again. Snow in April!
Up on our little hill, we got a couple centimeters overnight. But
now it's melted away, but it's still really cold! I hope summer
comes soon... we've had too much snow this year.
It's just less than 2 months until Ben and Michelle's wedding! Oh boy, it's comin' fast.
I gotta go eat lunch, so bye for now!

| Mystery is back! He's makin' his lovely home in our attic attic
again. I guess the park wasn't a far enough place to set him
free, and I guess the trap didn't completely scare him off, because
he's come back to his home again. Well, now we know what Mystery is, and how he got in in the first place, but now there is a new mystery. Where is the second hole? My
dad plugged up the first hole that Mystery was using, but somehow
Mystery can still get into the attic attic. I just finished
re-setting the trap, and if we catch Mystery again, this time I'll take
him to Lion's Park and set him free there. If we could find
that second hole, I'd gladly set him free in our yard, knowing he can't
get back in the attic attic. But... the second hole is a mystery,
and we've been searching for it for a long time now. So, we shall
wait and see where this mystery is going...
